Holidays

Beard Implement is normally closed on the following holidays:

• New Year's Day (January 1)
• Memorial Day (last Monday in may)
• Independence Day (July 4)
• Labor Day (first Monday in September)
• Thanksgiving (fourth Thursday in November)
• Day after Thanksgiving
• Christmas (December 25)
• Vacation and Sick time is provided and can be discussed during the interview process.

401K and Profit Sharing

Beard Implement offers employees the option of participating in a 401k plan to save for retirement. While there is no maximum percentage that an employee is allowed to contribute from his or her own salary, Beard Implement will contribute 0.25% of the employee's salary for every 1% contributor by the employee up to a maximum of 6%.

Beard Implement also currently offers Profit Sharing. To be eligible for the profit-sharing portion of the 401k, employees must have been employed by Beard Implement for a continuous 6-month period and have worked 1,000 hours during the preceding year. Each year, the Board of Directors will vote on whether or not the company will c contribute to the plan and, if so, what the percentage contribution will be.

Medical Coverage

Currently, Beard Implement pays the full premium cost for the full-time employee medical coverage (full time employees for purposes of group medical insurance are those employees who regularly work at least 30 hours per week). While Beard Implement also currently offers dental insurance, AFLAC disability insurance, and life insurance, these current policies are subject to change and/or elimination as deemed in the best interest of the c company at the sole discretion of the company
